From 2012 Schools from Finland, Germany, Italy, Poland, Turkey and Wales will look at stories with a moral and share them in our latest European Comenius project. We will look at the best characteristics of our heroes and collaborate to create our own Superhero character. A new story will be created by the pupils as our Superhero visits each country and solves problems posed by our pupils. Our teachers will also be looking at the merits of inclusion in the school education system across Europe.

In 2009 we were the coordinating partner for 8 other schools from Europe in a Comenius sponsored 2 year project ‘Food for Thought’. The Food for Thought project brought together nine European schools in Denmark, England, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, and Wales. Our mix of partner schools reflects the diversity within the European Union. This partnership included brand new private schools and established public schools from small rural communities to urban capital cities.

A Christmas project in 2011organised by Europe Direct had us strengthening ties with a total of 33 schools and Europe Direct offices throughout the European Union.

In 2010 we worked with a school in Ghana on a water project through the British Council. The project involved pupils from both schools and a teacher exchange.
