Barkers Lane School

School dinners are cooked fresh everyday by Mrs Harrison in the school kitchen. We are inspected regularly, as are all food premises, by Wrexham CBC Environmental Services and by WCBC Support Services to ensure that hygiene and quality control are always of the highest standard. At the last inspection we were awarded 5 Stars by Environmental Services.

Mrs Harrison is supported in the kitchen by Mrs Crowe and Miss Lewis who assist in the food preparation and serving. The children are supervised in the dining room by Mrs C Jones, Mrs J Jones, Mrs J Price, Mrs D Bayley-Moth and Mrs S Williams.

Dinners currently cost £2.00 for Infants and £2.05 for juniors per day (£10.00 and £10.25 per week). Please make cheques payable to 'Wrexham CBC'. If you are in receipt of certain benefits you may be entitled to school dinners for your child/ren and no cost - please contact the school office or check the Wrexham County website www.wrexham.gov.uk for further details on meals and menus.

We have a rolling 3 week menu with Week 1 being the first week after a school holiday and a themed day menu on the middle Tuesday. You can download the menu from the Documents tab above and the next theme day menu is shown below.
