Our new Criw Cymraeg are working hard to promote Welsh in school and to encourage all staff and pupils to use the phrases we already know and to practise using our ‘Gair Yr Wythnos’ – ‘Word of the Week’. So far we have introduced Medi (September), esgisodwch fi (excuse me) and croeso (welcome / you’re welcome). Each week one pupil from each class will be chosen to be ‘Siaradwr Yr Wythnos’ (Welsh talker of the week). Llongafarchiadau to our first Siaradwyr yr wythnos: William, Theo, Harry, Tom, Ava, Lexi a Jack. We are very proud of you all. Bendigedig! The Criw Cymraeg are also working with Owain, our Wrexham Youth Officer. We will focus on Welsh music and Welsh Apps over the next few weeks and will share what we are doing in our Gwasanaeth (Assembly) at the end of each week.
