Learning at Home

During the pandemic, there may be times when your child will need to learn from home, for example if another family member is isolating or if a class has to close for a period.

Your child will have a shared learning grid already which is updated each half term which they can use for the first couple of days or if they are home whilst a household member is waiting for  test result. If the period of isolation extends beyond a couple of days, your child’s teacher will implement remote learning.

For younger children, this will be shared on Seesaw and for older children via Hwb and Google Classroom.

To support parents, our staff have produced some ‘How to…’ guides below:

How to log into Seesaw using an iPad or Phone

How to log into Seesaw using a computer

How to login to Hwb

How to login to Google Classroom

How to find assignments in Google Classroom

There is also further information on Hwb which can be accessed here.

We have also have two pages on our website, Foundation Phase (Nursery – Y2) and Key Stage 2 (Y3-6) with lots of other ideas of activities for your child/ren.

There is also a page on Safeguarding and Support in the Parents Section, this has important information about digital safety, mental health, safeguarding all children and support for domestic violence.
